2019 BUDGET
REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

On behalf of the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Department of Corporate Services will accept 2019 Requests for Financial Assistance applications until November 30, 2018.

The Council of The Corporation of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is aware that various organizations, groups and events promote and improve upon the cultural, social and economic well-being of the community. In the course of annual budget deliberations and subject to budget constraints, Council may approve requests for financial assistance in order to support the organizations, groups or events that will be of direct or indirect benefit to the citizens of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Financial assistance may be offered by Council to financially assist organizations, events and activities whose programs address a community need, an under serviced demand, or represent an innovative approach to delivering service. The service must be of social/health, recreational, cultural or economic benefit to the community.

Granting of financial assistance in any one year by Council is not to be regarded as a commitment by Council to continue such financial assistance in future years, unless Council deems it appropriate.

Request for Financial Assistance application forms, including presentations, will be accepted by email to ptodd@notl.org until 4:00 p.m. on November 30, 2018. Please note all submissions will be considered public information subject to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
